Haripur: A citizen was killed in a lion attack in Haripur, Punjab, spreading panic in the area.
According to Express News, a lion came out of the forest in the city of Haripur, Punjab, and reached the village of Payan, where it attacked and killed a young man.
Residents of the area arrived on the news of the lion's attack and when they raised their voices, the lion ran back into the forest.
According to rescue sources, the name of the deceased youth is Nabil, while the Wildlife Department is still unaware of the incident and has not taken any action to capture the lion.
Since the incident, people have become cautious and there is fear in the area that the lion may attack again. People have appealed to wildlife to capture the lion and make it safe.
