An agreement was reached between the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PEPRA) and NADRA Technologies to make public procurement more transparent.
Under the agreement, the identity of suppliers and bidders wishing to register in e-PADs will be verified, and NADRA Technologies will provide verification services through e-Sahulat.
According to the report, more than 35,000 suppliers and bidders will be verified in the first phase, and in the next phase, the number of verified suppliers and bidders will be increased to three hundred thousand.
Project Director Pepera said that identity verification will help control fraud in public procurement.
CEO NADRA Technologies said that the agreement will play an important role in making the procurement process transparent and efficient.
