The inquiry into the drowning of more than 200 Pakistanis in Greece was challenged in the Sindh High Court.
The Sindh High Court heard a petition filed by Assistant Director FIA Wazirullah Bhatti against the inquiry into the drowning of more than 200 Pakistanis in Greece. The court issued a notice on the petition and directed that no action be taken against the petitioner and others until January 30.
An inquiry is being conducted against FIA Deputy Director Ali Murad, Assistant Director Rashid Bhatti and Wijaya Ullah Bhatti. The petition has made the Home Secretary, DG FIA, DG Karachi and Director HR FIA parties. The court has issued notices to the Home Secretary, DG FIA and others. Several of the drowned people had gone to Libya from Karachi Airport.
