Islamabad:
Pakistan has welcomed the Gaza ceasefire agreement of January 15, 2025, and called for its immediate and full implementation, expressing the hope that the ceasefire will lead to a permanent ceasefire and help increase humanitarian assistance.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office Spokesperson, the indiscriminate use of force by the Israeli occupation forces has caused the worst loss of lives and property and displaced millions of innocent Palestinian citizens. Israel's expansionist ambitions have destabilized the entire region.
Pakistan reiterates its support for a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
