The Indian media has once again started spreading unsubstantiated rumors about the renovation of stadiums ahead of the Champions Trophy.

After the opening ceremony, the Captains' Meet, the Indian media started spreading rumors about the renovation of the stadiums for the Champions Trophy scheduled in Pakistan.

Reports have accused the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of barring journalists from entering the National Stadium Karachi and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore so that no news related to the construction of the stadiums is shared.

Unconfirmed media reports further state that journalists will be able to visit the stadium only one day a week in the presence of a board representative.

Considering the delay in the construction of stadiums and the mega event, the PCB has taken this decision to avoid defeat so that the ICC does not move the Champions Trophy elsewhere.

On the other hand, the construction of stadiums for the Champions Trophy under the leadership of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is almost in the final stages, however, the Indian board is trying to carry out unsuccessful propaganda against Pakistan through its media.

The tournament will begin on February 19 with a match between Pakistan and New Zealand, but before that, the Green Shirts will also host a tri-nation series on their grounds.
