The Indian media has once again started making noise over the issue of upgrading the National Stadium in Karachi, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, and Rawalpindi stadiums.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has once again started spreading negative news about the upgradation of stadiums in Pakistan after the hybrid model in order to make fun of Pakistan.

The media of the Indian board, which has a monopoly on the International Cricket Council (ICC), the world body of cricket thanks to its sponsors, has started spreading news that the Champions Trophy may be moved from Pakistan due to delays in the renovation of the stadiums.

The ICC Champions Trophy is scheduled to begin on February 19 with a match between Pakistan and New Zealand, but the tournament, which will consist of 8 teams, will consist of 15 matches, with the final of the event taking place on March 9.

The Champions Trophy matches are being hosted by Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium, and Karachi's National Stadium, while the event will be held on a hybrid basis due to the Indian team, so 5 matches will be played in Dubai.

Last year, the process of building world-class stadiums was started on the instructions of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, which was to be completed by December 31. However, now Indian media reports have claimed that if the stadiums are not fully ready by February 12, the event will be shifted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

On the other hand, PCB officials have taken a clear stance on the upgrade of stadiums, saying that Pakistan will successfully host the Champions Trophy and there is no need to pay attention to any false rumors.

A senior board official told IANS that some people want to tarnish Pakistan's image on social media by spreading propaganda.

It should be noted that Pakistan is preparing to host an ICC tournament for the first time since 1996.
