The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of drugs abroad.
According to the ANF, one kilogram 818 grams of heroin was recovered from a Sri Lankan man during a search at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport. The suspect had skillfully hidden the drugs in his travel bag. The suspect was leaving for Thailand on a foreign flight.
According to the ANF, a case has been registered against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act and further investigation has been initiated. The ANF is taking all possible steps to prevent drug smuggling from Pakistan to other countries.
