A tragic incident occurred in Tirana, the capital of Albania, where the accused opened fire on the judge as soon as he heard the verdict in the court, killing the judge on the spot.
According to a foreign news agency, the shooting incident occurred during a property dispute case. Judge Estrat Kalaja was seriously injured in the shooting and died while being taken to the hospital.
The father and son, the petitioners in the case, were also shot and injured in the incident, but according to hospital authorities, their condition is out of danger.
Police arrested the 30-year-old attacker at the scene, while his security guard uncle has also been taken into custody, who is accused of allowing the suspect to enter the court with a pistol.
According to the police, as soon as the judge pronounced the verdict in the case, the accused got angry and pulled out a pistol and fired several bullets at the judge. He then also fired at the petitioner father and son, who were shifted to the hospital.
