Rawalpindi:
Three people were killed and two injured in a shooting incident during a dispute in the Nowgran area of Kahuta Tehsil.
According to the police, three people were killed and two were injured in the firing by armed suspects. Upon receiving information, Kahuta Police Station police and rescue teams immediately reached the spot.
Police said that the scene has been cordoned off and evidence has been collected. The victims have been identified as Naseer, Basharat and Shahzad Akbar, while Shahzad Ali and Ghazanfar Khan were injured and were shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
Police say that the suspect and the victim are related, but further details and reasons are being investigated to clarify the situation.
CPO Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Hamdani took notice of the triple murder incident in Kahuta and sought a report from SP Saddar, ordering the immediate arrest of the accused.
According to Rawalpindi Police, initial investigations indicate that three people were killed and one was injured in a shooting during a fight, and the motive for the murder is being investigated.
Police said that the bodies have been shifted to the hospital for postmortem and the injured for medical treatment, while evidence has been collected from the scene.
The police said that the suspects involved will be arrested and brought to justice.
