Suspects who leaked sensitive information have been arrested in a major operation against the network of the notorious Indian intelligence agency 'RAW'.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) targeted the network of Indian intelligence agency 'RAW' in a major operation on October 9, 2025. The operation was carried out in collaboration with other intelligence agencies based on intelligence information, in which 2 suspects were arrested.
According to the NCCIA spokesperson, the suspects were transferring information about sensitive Pakistani installations abroad through social media.
During the operation, mobile phones, computers and evidence of financial transactions were also recovered from the possession of the accused. In addition, forensic examination has also revealed more important evidence, which has helped in tracing other members of the Indian network and their foreign links, after which the scope of the investigation has been further expanded and more arrests are expected.
According to the NCCIA, cases have been registered against the arrested persons under various sections of the PICA Act and the Pakistan Penal Code. The agency says that every possible step is being taken to protect Pakistan's digital national security and strict action will be taken against any online attempt to destabilize the country.
