Dengue attacks continue in Rawalpindi, with 24 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.


According to the District Health Authority Rawalpindi, dengue tests of 12,819 people have been completed so far this year. 865 suspected cases of dengue have been confirmed this year.


58 patients are under treatment in hospitals and no deaths due to dengue have been reported. According to the Vector Surveillance Report 2025, 5.59 million 264 houses have been checked so far, while the presence of larvae was found in 1.75 million 412 houses.


1.53 million 631 locations were inspected and larvae were found at 23,536 locations, while actions were taken for violations of anti-dengue SOPs.


District Health Officer Dr. Jawad Ahmed said that 4455 FIRs were registered and 1850 places were sealed. 108 challans and 457 fines were issued.


The list of affected areas in the last 24 hours includes Dhok Kashmir, Takht Padi, Pirodhai, Dhok Gangal, Khayaban Sir Syed, Chak Jalal Din, Dhamial, Dhok Dalal, Kotha Kalan, Kaliyal, Qayyumabad, Ranyal, Ratta Amral, Rehmatabad and other areas.
