A Pakistani immigrant was executed in Saudi Arabia today for drug smuggling.

According to Saudi media, a Pakistani citizen was sentenced to death in Mecca. The sentence was previously handed down by a competent court and upheld by the Supreme Court.

The perpetrator was identified as Shiraz Khan, son of Nader Khan. It was also confirmed that the perpetrator was given access to all types of legal assistance and support.

It was not clear how the Pakistani citizen was executed. In Saudi Arabia, executions are usually carried out by beheading, firing squad, and in some cases by hanging.

Just today, a Saudi citizen was sentenced to death in the city of Dammam for terrorism, attacks on security personnel, the kidnapping and murder of a judge, and an attempt to destroy oil installations.

Saudi Arabia is among the countries in the world with the highest death penalty rates, and a large number of these cases have involved Pakistani immigrants.

It should be noted that the death penalty rate for Pakistani citizens in Saudi Arabia is more than 15 per year, with cases involving drug trafficking, murder, theft, and religious restrictions.

Drug trafficking is considered a very serious crime in Saudi Arabia, punishable by death.
