A PTCL spokesperson says that the submarine cable fault has been fixed and internet services are now fully restored.
According to a spokesperson for Pakistan Telecommunication, PTCL has fixed the internet slowdown caused by the fault of the AAE-1 submarine cable in record time, and internet services are now fully restored and browsing is smooth.
The spokesperson said that PTCL added additional bandwidth to minimize disruption during the issue. After the issue was resolved, Meta services (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) are fully functional and restored with a smooth experience.
PTA and PTCL teams worked tirelessly to restore full connectivity, and PTCL would like to thank its customers for their patience and cooperation.
