Karachi:

The Saudi government has issued new travel guidelines for travelers with various diseases, including meningitis and other vaccines.

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has informed all airlines around the world and issued instructions to implement the directive for passengers coming to Saudi Arabia from anywhere in the world.

According to Saudi Civil Aviation, new health-related guidelines must be strictly implemented. The new vaccination guidelines are available on the Saudi Ministry of Health website. All airlines must vaccinate their passengers coming to Saudi Arabia against meningitis and other diseases.

Travelers must have a vaccination certificate issued at least 10 days prior to arrival, and the vaccination certificate must not be older than 3 years for the polysaccharide type and 5 years for the conjugated type.

The directive states that children one year and younger are exempt from this vaccine, and airlines must take necessary precautions during travel. Airlines and passengers who violate Saudi Aviation's orders will be subject to legal action.
