Lahore:
The father and son accused of shooting and killing a woman in the Mughalpura area have been arrested.
DIG Investigation Zeeshan took notice of the incident and tasked the police team to immediately arrest the accused. In-charge Investigation Police Station Mughalpura Waqas Ahmed, along with the police team, took action and arrested the accused.
According to the police, the suspects who brutally murdered a female citizen, Misbah, by shooting her over a minor argument, have been arrested and the murder weapon recovered. The arrested suspects include Shiraz and his son Abdul Rehman.
According to Investigation In-charge Mughalpura Waqas Ahmed, the accused had killed the woman Misbah and fled from the scene of the incident. The accused have been arrested with the help of CCTV cameras and IT experts. The accused are now in the custody of the police. They will be punished after fulfilling all legal requirements.
According to DIG Investigation Zeeshan Asghar, the operations of the Lahore Investigation Police against criminal elements will continue.
SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed also announced certificates of appreciation for the police team.
