Lahore:
Naseerabad police arrested a drug dealer couple in front of the Model Town courthouse on a tip-off.
The suspects, residents of Kasur district, were on their way from Pattoki to Naseerabad to supply drugs. The motorcycle used by the suspects was also taken into police custody.
SP Model Town Akhlaqullah Tarar said that 45 kg of opium and 5 kg of hashish were recovered from the accused Saddam and Sadia Bibi and a case was registered.
SP Akhlaqullah Tarar said that raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused, and a crackdown against drug dealers is underway.
