A video has emerged of a woman stealing from a jewelry shop while showing off her smarts.
CCTV cameras have exposed a woman who stole a gold chain worth millions of rupees from a jewelry shop under the Bani police station limits by throwing dust in the shopkeeper's eyes. The police have arrested the accused and recovered the expensive chain.
A female thief disguised as a customer stole a gold chain worth millions of rupees from a jewelry shop by throwing dust in the jeweler's eyes and showing off her clean hands. However, the recording of the CCTV cameras installed in the jewelry shop preserved and exposed her clean hands.
In the footage, it can be seen that the accused, under the pretext of looking at jewelry at the Sadaf Jewelry Shop, suddenly steals a gold chain from a box and puts it in her lap. When the shopkeeper noticed, she starts arranging other items in the box.
Upon receiving a complaint, the police traced and arrested the female suspect with the help of technology and human intelligence, while the stolen gold chain, worth more than 550,000 rupees, was recovered.
