
Karachi:
A female pedestrian was killed after being hit by a dumper near the Osmania Restaurant on the Super Highway.
According to Edhi sources, the girl's body was shifted to a nearby hospital after the accident, where she was identified as 6-year-old Tania daughter of Muhammad Usman. The girl is said to belong to a nomadic tribe.
According to initial information, the girl was crossing the road with her parents when she was hit by an unknown dumper and died. Rescue officials said that the girl's father said that the dumper driver fled with the vehicle.
According to the girl's father, these people have come to Karachi from Punjab and live in a slum in Gadap City. They work hard.
The girl's body has been shifted from a private hospital to the Edhi morgue in Sohrab Goth. SHO Gadap City Sarfaraz Jatoi said that a report of the accident has been received, after which the police have started an investigation.
