The management of the state-of-the-art Holoverse built at the Lahore Zoo has been handed over to a private company, where citizens will soon be able to experience seeing and touching various wild animals up close through virtual reality and mixed reality with the help of modern technology. Wildlife-related films will also be able to be watched in a 3D cinema.

Lahore Zoo Director Sheikh Muhammad Zahid told Express News that three facilities have been introduced in Holoverse, including virtual reality, mixed reality, and hologram 3D cinema facilities.

He said that through VR in virtual reality, citizens will find themselves in a forest where they will feel like they are being attacked by dangerous wild animals. With the help of VR, these animals will be felt closer. Such animals that they have never seen before.

An Express News reporter also visited the mixed reality experience where they were able to see and touch various animals, including dinosaurs, elephants, and lions, up close. Citizens will also be able to take pictures of these scenes.

During the virtual reality viewing, the reporter was also scared when an African lion suddenly attacked. Through VR, it feels like you are in a dangerous forest where there are all kinds of wild animals, insects and birds. You have to both observe them and avoid them.

Sheikh Muhammad Zahid said that the ticket for virtual reality is Rs 100, the ticket for mixed reality is Rs 200, and the ticket for hologram 3D cinema is Rs 300. It is the citizen's choice whether he wants to see all the facilities or see just one thing.

He said that Holloway has been handed over to a private company, and it is possible that they will introduce family packages and student packages, which will provide more convenience to visitors.

He further said that it is the result of the hard work and day-to-day efforts of Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Secretary Forest and Wildlife Mudassar Waheed Malik and especially DG Wildlife Mudassar Riaz Malik that the citizens will get a new and excellent recreational facility. He said that this was a dream of DG Wildlife which has been turned into a reality.
