Varun Dhawan considers Rajpal Yadav as his acting mentor

Renowned Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan thanked senior actor Rajpal Yadav for his praise and called him his teacher.

Varun shared a video clip on Instagram, in which Rajpal Yadav was praising his performance and professional attitude. Rajpal Yadav, who has worked with Varun in several films like Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2, and Coolie No. 1, said that Varun is a complete star.

Rajpal Yadav said in an interview that Varun used to visit the sets of his father's films as a child and has been learning the ins and outs of showbiz ever since.

He said, "Varun Dhawan has immense talent. His dancing skills, comedy timing, and hard work make him special. He is carrying forward the legacy of his father David Dhawan."

Rajpal Yadav further said that Varun Dhawan always tries to adopt different roles and this is his biggest quality.

Varun Dhawan reacted to this video and wrote, "Rajpal sir, I have learned a lot from you. Thank you for these beautiful words."

Varun and Rajpal recently worked together in the film Baby Jaan, which also starred Keerthy Suresh, Vameka Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. However, the film did not do well at the box office.

Rajpal Yadav shed light on the reasons for the film's failure, saying that the film was a remake of the Tamil hit 3, due to which the audience did not show much interest.

"If this film hadn't been a remake, it could have been the best film of my 25-year career," he said.

Rajpal praised Varun's courage, saying that despite the film's failure, he is very positive and determined, and "Varun is a very hardworking and well-mannered person, and his courage should be applauded."
