Ukrainian intelligence officials have accused China of providing intelligence to Russia for attacks on Ukraine.
According to a Reuters report, Oleh Alexander, a senior official at Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Agency, said that China is providing Russia with intelligence for targeted missile strikes inside Ukraine.
He said that China is providing intelligence via satellite on targets, including those benefiting from foreign investment.
The Ukrainian official said there is evidence of high-level cooperation between Russia and China to identify and further examine strategic targets through satellite surveillance of Ukrainian territory.
"We have seen in recent months that these targeted sites are owned by foreign investors," he said.
Ukrainian President Zelensky and other officials said that a Russian missile strike in the western Zakarpattia region in August had targeted an American factory and injured 15 people.
Zelensky said in a statement in April that China is supplying Russia with weapons and ammunition and that our government has secret information that China is manufacturing weapons inside Russia.
