Peshawar: During a meeting between the Army Chief and political leaders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a bitter exchange took place between the Governor and the Chief Minister, while Aimal Wali Khan declared Barrister Saif as the Taliban of the provincial government.

According to Express News, two days ago in Peshawar, Army Chief General Asim Munir met with leaders of political parties, the inside story of which has come to light. In the meeting, there was a bitter exchange between KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and the tension escalated to the point that Gandapur got up and walked out.

According to sources, a dispute arose over the issue of Rs 500 billion received by the governor in the name of the war on terrorism. The Chief Minister rebuked the governor for mentioning the said amount, to which the governor requested him to complete his speech, but despite this, the Chief Minister kept telling him not to use false statements. Later, he left the meeting and returned after the governor finished speaking.

According to sources, the army chief and other political leaders took charge of the matter, but the matter deteriorated again when ANP chief Aimal Wali Khan criticized the provincial government. Aimal Wali Khan said that the provincial government should take responsibility for the operations, we are with them, the Taliban are sitting in the provincial government, what will happen to them.

The Chief Minister demanded the names of the Taliban in the provincial government. At first, Aimal Wali remained silent, but at the Chief Minister's insistence, he named the Information Advisor Barrister Saif.

According to sources, the Chief Minister said that he was part of the Afghan jihad in the past and he openly admits this, there is nothing wrong with it.

According to sources, in the meeting, the Army Chief took the political leadership into confidence about the situation in the region. Barrister Gohar demanded that security issues be discussed in parliament.
