The statements given in court by Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in connection with the Tosha Khana II case have come to light.
In the statement of 342 given in the court in his defense by the founding chairman of PTI, it has been said that can action be taken just for not reporting the gift as per the Toshakhana policy in 2018?. The Toshakhana gifts were received between May 7 and 10, 2021, on which a NAB case was filed.
According to the statement, the Toshakhana Rules are completely silent regarding the jurisdiction of the FIA. On this basis, I and my wife have to be acquitted in the fourth fake Toshakhana case. Such fabricated cases are being made against me since November 2022. Inamullah Shah is the central witness who cannot be trusted for some reasons.
Imran Khan further said in the statement that Inamullah Shah was dismissed from the Prime Minister's Office for dishonestly taking two salaries. Inamullah Shah was working as a tool of Jahangir Tareen. When Inamullah Shah first appeared as a witness in the NAB reference, he did not even mention the Bulgarian seat.
Bushra Bibi's statement
The statement of 342 submitted by Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi in the court also came to light, according to which the Bulgari jewelry was paid as per the set rules and kept with him. Inamullah Shah was never asked to quote a lower price than Sohaib Abbasi. Inamullah Shah was first employed in the PTI Secretariat and then in the Prime Minister's House, he was dismissed for taking salaries from 2 places.
The statement further said that suppose Inamullah gave me a benefit of 3 billion 20 crores for setting a lower price. Suppose if he gave me a benefit in May 2021, then why was he fired in July 2021 for taking only 70 thousand more salary? The prosecution case against us ends, the facts of which are not correct.
Bushra Bibi further said in the statement that NAB does not have jurisdiction, the price quoted from Italy cannot be presented as evidence. Chairman NAB pardoned the promissory note witness Sohaib Abbasi on May 23, 2024 without authority. The allegation of giving a message to Sohaib Abbasi through Inamullah Shah to set a low price is not true. The FIA never investigated.
In the statement, Bushra Bibi said that they are violating their rules. They submitted a fabricated report. In the Tosha Khana One case, witnesses Inamullah and Sohaib Abbasi had not mentioned the Bulgarian seat anywhere. I am a veiled woman and have never participated in any political activity. I never told Inamullah Shah about lowering the price.
Bushra Bibi said that the High Court wrote in the order that the FIA has no authority to file a case. Punishment cannot be given repeatedly for the same crime, as is being done in the Tosha Khana case. The FIA did not find anything in the prohibited funding case, the cipher, so now it has filed this case.
It should be noted that the court had given a Section 342 questionnaire consisting of 29 questions each to the PTI founder and his wife Bushra Bibi, after which both the accused submitted their Section 342 statements to the court yesterday.
