Mumbai: A major police revelation has come to light regarding the resistance of Bollywood's Nawab Saif Ali Khan during an attack and attempted robbery at his home.
According to police, the attacker entered the premises of the house by climbing a wall from an adjacent building and using a fire exit to gain access to Saif and Kareena's apartment. However, investigations have revealed that the attacker was assisted from inside the house.
At around 3 am on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, an attacker entered Saif Ali Khan's house and stabbed him. Saif suffered six wounds, two of which were deep, and one wound was near the spine. Fortunately, his wife Kareena Kapoor and children were safe.
Saif was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery to remove a knife fragment stuck near his spine. Doctors have described his condition as stable.
Police have reviewed CCTV footage, which shows two suspects. Further investigations are ongoing, and police are trying to reach the local accomplices behind the attack.
Kareena Kapoor and her two sons Jay and Taimur were at home at the time of the incident, but they are completely safe. After the incident, fans asked about the well-being of Kareena and the children, to which it was confirmed that they were safe.
