The United Kingdom has announced the introduction of a passport with a new royal seal (Coat of Arms).
According to details, the United Kingdom has announced that from December 2025, new passports will include the royal seal of King Charles III.
The pages inside the passport will feature four beautiful natural landscapes included under UNESCO, which are cities in four British countries.
Ben Nevis (Scotland)
The Lake District (England)
Three Cliffs Bay (Wales)
Giant's Causeway (Northern Ireland)
The new passport will have advanced technical security features such as new holographic and translucent features to make it difficult to forge or tamper with the passport.
However, it should be noted that current passports bearing the seal of Queen Elizabeth II will still remain valid until their expiration date.
With this new design, the word “His Majesty” will be used instead of “Her Majesty” since the reign of King Charles III has begun.
