A new twist has emerged in the incident of alleged violence against LESCO officials by singer Jawad Ahmed, and according to LESCO officials, the police are pressuring for reconciliation.

According to details, LESCO teams were conducting routine checks within the limits of LESCO's Airline Subdivision when they found that the meter of a beauty salon was dead phase. When its load was checked, the entire load of the beauty salon was running on this dead phase.

According to Ahmed Faraz of Axion Johar Town, when the Lesco team removed the meter, the employees of the beauty salon came out and took the Lesco team hostage.

The salon employees said that this was the salon of the wife of famous singer and Equality Party chairman Jawad Ahmed. The employees called and informed Jawad Ahmed, upon which Jawad Ahmed arrived with his guards on a black Vego.

According to LESCO officials, Jawad Ahmed, along with his guards, tortured LESCO employees and allegedly tried to force them to pay. The employees ran away to save their lives. During the scuffle, Jawad Ahmed escaped with an electricity meter.

Officials say that the police were called but did not provide any help, while the SDO Airline Sub-Division has submitted a request to register a case at the Nawab Town police station.

LESCO officials also claimed that the medico-legal certificates of the injured employees have been attached, but the police have not yet registered a case. On the contrary, police officers are pressuring LESCO officials to withdraw this request and reconcile. Then the police were told not to register a case of electricity theft, but to file an FIR for a scuffle or fight.

In this regard, Lesco's Customer Services Director Abbas Ali, while talking to "Express", said that we will register a case under the Electricity Act and terrorism provisions. There is great anger and resentment among our labor union and employees.

He further said that if the police did not register a case, they would take the matter to the Disco Support Unit comprising Rangers, ISI, MI, FIA and other agencies on behalf of the Ministry of Energy. The purpose of its establishment is to assist LESCO in taking action against influential electricity thieves and defaulters.
