Lahore:
Nawab Town Police have registered a case against renowned singer Jawad Ahmed for stealing electricity from his wife's beauty parlor.
The case has been registered on the complaint of LESCO officials, under other sections including electricity theft.
According to the FIR, two LESCO personnel were injured due to the violence of the accused.
LESCO officials say that electricity was stolen by tampering with the meter and killing the phase in the beauty parlor.
The police have registered a case against four unknown persons, including singer Jawad Ahmed, at Nawab Town police station.
The case was registered on the complaint of SDO Muhammad Asghar.
According to the lawsuit, the Lesco team checked the meter of a beauty parlor during a routine check. Jawad Ahmed was informed by his wife, the owner of the beauty parlor.
Singer Jawad Ahmed along with his companions came to the black market, snatched the meter from the LESCO officials and beat and injured LESCO employees Asghar and Shahid Khan.
According to the text of the FIR, singer Jawad Ahmed also tried to run over LESCO employees with his car.
