Famous Indian rapper and singer Honey Singh has declared himself mentally ill.

Speaking on actress and host Rhea Chakraborty's program, Honey Singh described himself as suffering from mental illness, saying that he had gone through a severe case of 'bipolar disorder'.

He admitted that there was a time when he thought he was dead and had become mentally ill.

Punjabi singer and music producer Honey Singh said that it is very difficult to recognize patients with bipolar disorder, even doctors face difficulty in understanding the disease.

During the conversation, Honey Singh talked about the time when he was going through a major mental problem when he learned that he was suffering from bipolar disorder.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty mentioned Honey Singh's documentary and said that she was overwhelmed with emotions of both joy and sadness after watching it. She thanked Honey Singh for getting her through this difficult time, to which Honey replied, 'Akbar the Great is meeting Alexander the Great, two fighters are meeting each other'.

It should be remembered that due to the sudden suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput, actress Rhea Chakraborty also faced mental problems and social pressure.
