Islamabad:
The FIA Cyber Crime Wing, Islamabad, has registered cases against PTI leader Shahbaz Gul and YouTuber Moeed Pirzah for spreading propaganda against the state and state institutions on social media.
Both suspects are living abroad, their accomplices and other suspects will be identified during the investigation.
Inquiries were ongoing against Shahbaz Gul and Moeed Pirzada in the Cyber Crime Wing, in which cases were registered against both of them on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Muneeb Zafar in the FIA Cyber Crime Wing, Islamabad, when the allegations were found to be true.
These cases involve allegations of running a propaganda campaign against the government through TikTok accounts.
FIA sources said that since both the accused are abroad, Interpol will also be approached to complete legal proceedings and arrest them from abroad.
