
A female tourist and her Nepali instructor were killed in a paragliding accident in Goa.
According to reports, 27-year-old female tourist Shivani Dubley and her instructor Somal Nepali, 26, died after falling into a gorge while paragliding in North Goa.
According to police, the accident occurred on Saturday evening in the village of Keri, when a female tourist fell into a ravine with her instructor while paragliding.
Police said that Pune resident Shivani Dublay had opted for paragliding with an illegally operating adventure sports company. However, their paraglider fell into a gorge soon after taking off from a mountain, killing both of them on the spot.
A case of endangering human life has been registered at the Mandrem police station against the company's owner, Shekhar Raizada.
