The High Court has ordered that Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur not be arrested for three weeks in the cases registered against him.

A hearing was held in the Peshawar High Court on the details of the cases and the request for protective bail of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Before a two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Waqar Ahmed, the petitioner's lawyer informed the court that a negotiation meeting between the government and the opposition is scheduled today, due to which Ali Amin cannot appear in court.

The Chief Justice inquired as to when the meeting would be held. The lawyer said that the meeting was to be held at 11 am today.

Later, the court extended Ali Amin Gandapur's protective bail by three weeks and ordered him to be prevented from arrest in the cases registered.

The court ordered that Ali Amin Gandapur not be arrested in the cases registered during the past 3 weeks.
