President Trump may not have won the Nobel Peace Prize, but he will travel to the Middle East to celebrate the Gaza ceasefire, calling it his greatest achievement.
According to a global news agency, US President Donald Trump has entered the fray to prove himself as an architect of peace in the Middle East.
President Trump will arrive in Israel on Sunday, where he will celebrate the success of the Gaza peace plan and possibly welcome the release of Israeli hostages.
After which the US President will travel to Egypt, where the parties agreed to this historic ceasefire agreement after lengthy negotiations.
Donald Trump will also attend the signing ceremony of the agreement on the first phase of the Gaza peace plan in Egypt.
It should be noted that Israel and Hamas have praised the US president's negotiating role, while welcoming ceremonies are expected for him in the Arab host countries.
Experts say that although Trump is taking credit for the agreement, real peace will only be possible if he pressures Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to resume bombing after the ceasefire.
Professor Mohammed Al-Masri of the Doha Institute said that he hopes Trump will convince Netanyahu that an end to the war is now inevitable.
