Former Indian cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, in a recent interview, narrated an interesting incident from the early days of comedian Kapil Sharma's career, saying that at the beginning of his career, Kapil looked 45 years old with a bloated stomach.
According to Indian media, Sidhu highly appreciated Kapil Sharma's struggle and his journey from local theater to the big stage of TV and said that Kapil is a talented and hardworking person.
He said that Kapil used to perform in Bhullar's Theatre Society for just Rs 100, and when he first appeared on TV in 2006, he had less hair on his head and a protruding belly, which made him look 45 years old. But as soon as he got a big platform, his talent came to the fore and he also changed himself because when money comes, appearance can also change.
Sidhu stressed that any talent needs an opportunity and a platform to flourish, otherwise the potential remains stifled. He said that the biggest disease in the world is 'what will people say', due to which the youth are unable to fulfill their passions.
